I decided to go on a boat dive to Molokini today at the last minute (booked it yesterday) because I was jonesin’ for some crystal clear water, and the shoreline was mucked up again due to heavy rains and swell. Molokini did not disappoint, I am glad to say!
I went out with Maui Dreams Dive Co on their Maui Diamond II boat, with Jake as captain, and Dave and Eric as divemasters. The crew was fantastic as always. Well, Dave was great underwater, but a bit of an asshole on the boat. Just kidding, Dave! You may not be the warmest bun in the oven, but you are far from being an asshole. 🥸
From a photo point of view, this dive really allowed me to test the versatility of the iPhone, as with the newest setup I am starting to get some decent macro results, and learning that the “normal” lens is wide angle enough. And using the dimmer light, the 2500, for macro also seems to be working well. Don’t need so much light when you are so close, doh. 🤓
