As any one who knows me knows, I don’t celebrate Christmas beyond availing myself of the paid time off, which is always appreciated. Thank you Jesus, you mythical love god you!
In any case, despite not celebrating Christmas, and despite having been naughty all year long (just ask my wife), I was given incredible gifts underwater the last 2 days (24th and 25th). Manta Ray at Makena yesterday, Great Barracuda on the way out to the St Anthony today, along with some super friendly fish, Barred Moray Eels, prides of Green Lionfish, 3 Day Octopuses (yes, that’s correct), 2 Green Sea Turtles, and a lionfish in an eel’s mouth.
