It may seem like I missed a couple of weekend days of diving, but I just dove a couple of days without my camera so I could put my new scooter through its paces. I wanted to check continuous runtime at the various speeds, so I didn’t want to stop and take pictures, so I left the camera to avoid the temptation. And of course I saw some cool stuff, but oh well.
Made up for it today though. Spent almost the whole dive at Anthias Rock, which is a small hump of reef sitting by itself in the sand in 55 feet of water. It is a cleaning station and there is always a lot of activity and a lot of species, including the bicolor anthias which gives the rock its name.
